Example. Pig hanging weight 100 lbs times $4.99 equals $499.00. 
The hanging weight includes all the bones and fat before trimming. A half pigs hanging weight should be about 100lbs. Take home weight can be about 80% of the hanging weight depending on cuts chosen.

space requirements

  • Almost always a half pig will be 2 boxes. 
  • The photo to the right shows a half pig still in the box loaded into he top of an average top mount freezer.
  • Taking the pork out of the box will drastically reduce freezer space needed. 
  • With "tight" packaging meat will stay good in freezer for many months. Air is what causes freezer burn.

  • Raised outdoors on our farm in pasture/woods.
  • Feed is "in transition to organic" GMO & Soy Free
  • No Chemicals or Antibiotics are used. 
  • USDA Inspected Butcher & Vacuum Sealed
