After the herd grazed everything they could including trees we pulled our straight line fence out as far as the line would allow to get a strip of an extra couple feet of grass.

 Because of our portable fencing system we were able to move the cattle into a piece of ground that was overgrown for years. The herd will stay 2-3 days and be moved out. Using very little energy grazing livestock can be a great, sustainable, land management tool.
