The pigs were just recently let into their new paddock. After much work in clearing the fence line and installing the new type of fencing the pigs are enjoying the open field for the first time.
This was a delicious dish. The sauce that the short ribs made was excellent. Ingredients: Garlic, Onions, Brocccoli Rabe, Olive Oil, Vitality Pastures Beef Short Ribs, and Seasonings.
Our first experience with sheep. These lambs will be rotating around the pasture like our cattle and be grass finished like our cattle.
When cattle eat nothing but pasture they need a lot of it. The left side of the white wire was where the cattle were the day before. Where the cattle are now is where they were moved the current day. What does not get eaten get trampled. The trampled plants protects the soil, preserve moisture, and feed the microbes and earthworms.
